Product Definition:


High purity alumina (HPA) is a form of alumina (Al2O3) that has been purified to a high degree. It is used in the manufacture of electronic and optical components, particularly those that require tight tolerances for dimensional accuracy and surface finish. HPA can also be used as a substrate for growing thin films of other materials.


4N:


4N, also known as quaternary ammonium salts or cationic surfactants, is a chemical compound with the formula (CH3)3N. It is a colorless liquid usually prepared by treating amines with chloroacetic acid. The commercial product consists of 80% of 4N content and it's used in various applications such as metal cleaning agent for removing oxide film from aluminum and copper surfaces.


5N:


5N is the current industry standard for purity in alumina. It means that out of a maximum of 100%, 99.99% to be exact, of the purest form can be achieved by using 5N process.
