High purity titanium sponge is a porous form of titanium that is created through a process of heating and compressing natural rutile or ilmenite ore. It has a high surface area to volume ratio, making it an ideal material for use in the manufacture of various titanium alloys. High purity titanium sponge is also used in the production of medical implants, such as hip replacements and dental fillings.

Ti>99.7 is a new term in the industry and refers to the percentage of titanium content in alloyed with iron, nickel, and 7 other metals. It has been observed that TiO2:HfO3 ratio ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 exhibits superior properties which are superior to those of pure titanium metal or even some commercial grades of steel.


Ti: 99.5-99.7:


Ti: 99.5-99.7 is a range of titanium grades which contains about 5% to 20% iron and balance titanium metal by weight. It has high resistance to corrosion, higher tensile strength than steel, ductility & flexibility and is recyclable in nature as it can be recycled into crude oil type material or used as scrap for other processes.
