Hydrolysis Method:


Hydrolysis method is used for converting amino acids into their respective building blocks. In this process, water is added to a compound which then reacts with the acid or base present in it to form an intermediate product. The by-products formed in this reaction are called as waste products and can be disposed of or recycled. Hydrolysis method is widely used for producing Histidine and other related compounds like Serine, Tyrosine, Glutamate & Aspartate etc.
