A colorless gas with a characteristic odor of rotten eggs. It is a flammable gas and is toxic to humans. It occurs naturally in crude oil and natural gas and is produced when organic matter decomposes. Hydrogen sulfide is used as an industrial chemical, in the manufacture of sulfuric acid, and as a fumigant.


High Pure Gas:


High pure gas, also known as HPG or hydrogen sulfide is a colorless and odorless liquid that consists of only one component, which is gaseous sulfur. It has a density of 0.79 kg/L and boiling point of -44°C. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is the most common compound found in high pure gas form; it accounts for over 90% by volume in commercial quantities.


Gas Mixtures:


The global gas mixtures and it's usage in hydrogen sulfide market is expected to witness significant growth over the forecast period. The growing demand for natural gas coupled with low cost of production has resulted in a shift towards using mixture of natural gas (methane) and syngas (oxygen & carbon monoxide) as fuel over conventional fossil fuels such as coal, oil or even biofuels.
