An industrial ionizing air gun is a device which emits high-speed ions to clean or remove contaminants from an object. These guns are often used in manufacturing and other industrial settings where there is a need to clean or remove debris from objects. The importance of these guns lies in their ability to quickly and effectively clean surfaces without the use of chemicals or other harsh cleaning methods.


High Pressure:


High pressure is a type of compressed air that is greater than normal atmospheric pressure. High Pressure can cause serious injuries and deaths if used in an improper manner. It can also severely damage the environment if not handled properly. The proper handling of high-pressure air requires special knowledge and experience, which can only be acquired by working with these systems for a longer period of time.


Atmospheric Pressure:


Atmospheric pressure is the weight of air above that at sea level. The unit of atmospheric pressure is called “bias” and is measured in hectopascals (HP). One hectopascal is equal to 10-5 HPA, which means one hPa = 0.01 bar or 1/100th of a millibar. The higher the better as long as it does not exceed 40 kilopascals (kiloHPA).


Application Insights:


The other application segment includes food packaging, metalworking, and plywood production. The ship, furniture and other applications include the use of industrial ionizing air gun to clean the surface of ships as it helps in reducing corrosion by creating a thin layer of oxidation on the surface. IAIGs are widely used for cleaning as they produce less pollution than conventional gas-driven systems.


The atmospheric pressure low-pressure (APLPG) guns are preferred over high-pressure (HP) guns as they do not require a regulator system or supply hose due to lower pressure levels required for operating them. APLPGs have higher power density than HP IAGs; however, they are more expensive due to their design complexity and need advanced safety features such as trigger sensors that prevent accidental firing when moving from a vertical position or during transportation on rough surfaces such as concrete floors or uneven ground surfaces.
