Large rotary evaporator is used for drying wide range of liquids and gases. It’s working principle is based on the simple law of conservation of energy. Vapor pressure within the system is higher than external atmosphere resulting into vaporization process.
Medium Rotary Evaporator:
The medium rotary evaporator is used for continuous removal of water from a liquid-vapor mixture. It can also be used to distill large quantities of water from impure solvents and gases. The device consists of a hollow, vertical cylinder with one or more spirals mounted at the bottom.
