?99% is a chemical compound of pure lithium and has the formula Li3O000. It is a white crystalline solid and has no significant taste or odor. ?99% can be produced by the fractional distillation process, which involves heating lithium metal in vacuum to very high temperatures (around 1400°C), causing it to boil off into an aerosol; this procedure produces several liters of liquid per ton of material, which can then be collected as crystals.

Lithium triflate is a chemical compound of lithium, trifluoromethane, and gaseous hydrogen. It is primarily used as an electrolyte in rechargeable batteries such as Li-ion batteries. The major applications include industrial processes, laboratory experiments for teaching purposes and the synthesis of organic compounds.

Application Insights:

The other application segment accounted for the largest volume share of more than 50% in 2017. Lithium triflate is used as an antistatic agent and a wetting agent in the manufacturing of semiconductors, glass, paints & coatings and paper. It is also used as a catalyst in organic synthesis applications.
