Pressure Pre-compensated (PPC) load sensing valves are used in process control and monitoring applications to measure the flow without changing the pressure. They are mainly applied in high vacuum systems, where normal or differential pressure cannot be employed for measurement purposes. PPC load sensing valves can be used with other types of sensors such as potentiometers, which makes them a preferred choice across various industries including chemical processing, food & beverage processing and pharmaceuticals among others.
Flow Sharing Load Sensing Valves:
Flow sharing load sensing valves are used in place of conventional flow limiting orifice plate and ball valves. These devices have the ability to share the flow between two or more channels without reducing the pressure across any channel. Flow sharing load sensing valve is a hybrid device that integrates functions of a pressure-sensitive ball valve and an Orifice plate, which enables it to monitor both upstream & downstream processes with one instrumentation system.
