Epoxy is a resin, which is widely used in marine anticorrosion coatings. It has high resistance to abrasion and chemicals and forms an excellent protective coating on any surface. Epoxy resins are thermosetting polymers containing an epoxide group (R-COOH). They are manufactured by reacting ethylene with phosgene or by using diethylene glycol as a raw material.


Fluoropolymers:


Fluoropolymers are synthetic organic compounds that contain only carbon and fluorine. Fluorine is the central element in all these compounds, which gives them their characteristic properties such as excellent electrical insulation, chemical inertness, high heat & corrosion resistance and low dielectric constant.
