Product Definition:
Master Cylinder Actuation is the process of using a master cylinder to create hydraulic pressure in order to activate brake or clutch pedals. The importance of this system is that it allows drivers to apply pressure to the brake or clutch pedal in order to slow or stop their vehicle.
Hydraulic Type:
Hydraulic type is a valve technology that uses the force of fluid to operate the valve. The main characteristic of this technology is that there are no mechanical linkages between the valves and actuators, hence it reduces maintenance problems and increases reliability. Hydraulic type has higher flow rates as compared to pneumatic types due to its ability to actuate at low pressures.
Air Type:
The air type is used in master cylinder actuation. It helps to determine the flow of air and its pressure. The information gathered through this device is very useful for automobile manufacturers as it helps to design an efficient engine system.
This device measures the volume and velocity of a stream of air passing through a sensor or nozzle, by means of an orifice plate which is exposed to the moving air stream.
