Product Definition:
A mechanical air filter is a device that removes particles from the air. It does this by trapping the particles on a filter media. The media can be a woven fabric or an electrostatic material. Mechanical filters are important because they help keep the air clean and free of pollutants.
Pre Filters:
Pre filters are used before the air filter in mechanical filtration process. It has a high growth factor as compared to post filters mainly due to its ability to remove dust and other particles from the air that is passed through it. The pre-filters are of different types such as HEPA, cartridge, canister, foam and others.
Sub-HEPA Filters:
Sub-HEPA filters are highly efficient air filters used to remove dust and airborne particles from the air that pass through mechanical systems. The efficiency of sub-high Efficiency Particulate Air (EPS) filter is measured in terms of the amount of harmful particulate matter that it removes from the airflow. It has a very high filtration efficiency, which ranges between 99.97% to 100%.
