The product finds application in various industries including power generation, chemical processing, and automotive among others.
High Pure Molybdenum Oxide:
High pure molybdenum oxide is a new material, which has been developed by the research department of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. It was patented in Japan on April 16, 1996 and was published for the world wide protection on September 15, 1996. The patent specification states that HPMO is a new compound and it’s different from any other product known to man.
Application Insights:
Natural gas fields were the largest application segment in 2016 and accounted for over 40% of the total demand. The rising need to curb greenhouse gases in order to meet global warming targets has resulted in increased focus on natural gas production, which is projected to drive the market growth over the forecast period.
