16 channels optical power meter is a device that measures the total optical power of an entire channel in an optical network. It helps to monitor and maintain the health of Optical Network Units (ONU) and provides alarms when there are problems with ONU operation. The 16-channel model uses one path for transmitting data on all its outputs, which allows it to provide eight independent measurements across eight ports at once.
