Natural gas-fired power generation is the use of natural gas to generate electricity. Natural gas is a fossil fuel that burns cleanly and produces less pollution than other fossil fuels, such as coal. CCGT:


The CCGT, or Combined Cycle Gas Turbine is a power generation device that burns natural gas for fuel and uses the hot exhaust gases to drive an internal turbine. The overall process of CCGT utilizes heat and pressure transfer from the combustion engine to the generator thereby creating electricity.


OCGT:


The overall process of oil and gas GTT is referred to as Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) or tubular goods transportation. OCTG consists of two main components, namely the pipe and the fittings. The pipe is made from high-grade steel with a minimum wall thickness of 0.75 inches (19 mm). Fittings are manufactured from various materials including brass, copper, alloy metals such as stainless steel and nickel alloys among others.


Application Insights:


The application segment includes enterprise and personal. Enterprise applications include industrial, commercial, and public infrastructure such as healthcare facilities, data centers, educational institutions and transportation. The personal application segment consists of vehicles (such as cars/trucks) using natural gas as a fuel in their engines. Growing use of natural gas in the automotive industry is expected to drive the global market over the forecast period.
