The primary function of nematocide or nematicides is to protect crops from parasitic diseases by restricting their growth; it also helps in controlling some weed activities but does not kill them completely.
Organophosphates:
Organophosphates are a group of compounds that contain phosphorus and at least one oxygen atom. Organophosphates can be classified as inorganic or organic. Inorganic organophosphates include phosphoric acid, orthophosphoric acid, hydrolyzed phosphoric acid, and other related compounds such as pyrophoric salts and amino acids.
