Oil Medium-chain Triglycerides is a natural, functional food ingredient that provides a unique combination of benefits for human health. It is composed of glycerin and three fatty acids: caprylic acid, capric acid, and lauric acid. These fatty acids are metabolized differently than other fats because they are shorter in length and more easily absorbed and used by the body.
Food Grade:
Food-grade MCT is a form of vegetable oil that has been processed to remove impurities and to make it suitable for human consumption. It consists of caproic acid, which is the primary constituent of coconut oil. Food grade MCT can be used in various food products such as bakery, confectionery, dairy products (butter & cheese), meat & poultry products and sauces & dressing.
Industriy Grade:
Industriy grade is a type of fatty acid that has been processed to remove impurities. The process involved in producing this grade is very much alike the production process of regular vegetable oil, however, there are some key differences between the two. First and foremost, industrial-grade triglycerides do not contain any plant matter (such as stearic or palmitic acids) and are usually more refined than other grades available in the market today.
