Solid TOC analyzers are used to measure the total organic carbon content in a sample. Organic carbon is found in nature as well as it is produced by incomplete combustion during fossilization or fermentation in biological processes. Solid TOC analyzer works on the principle of infrared spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, where a small portion of sample ( approximately 10-15 mg) is analyzed at a time.


Liquid TOC Analyzer:


The liquid to carbon ratio is a key parameter used in the TOC analysis. It helps to quantitate organic carbon present in complex mixtures such as bio-based liquids, oil sludge, wastewater and others.
