Product Definition:
PE-RT is a type of plastic that is used in water and sewer pipes. It is important because it does not corrode like metal pipes can, and it is resistant to UV rays.
Ethylene-Octene:
Ethylene-octene (E-8) is a polymer with the chemical formula C30H48. It is a colorless liquid that has low volatility and high viscosity due to its high molecular weight. Ethylene-octene copolymer (EOCP) can be manufactured by the addition of ethylene oxide to octene in an appropriate ratio for use as plastic resin in injection molding, extrusion blow molding, and film & sheet manufacturing applications.
Ethylene-Hexene:
Ethylene-Hexene (E-H) is a colorless liquid that is widely used as a monomer in the production of polyethylene and polypropylene. It has also found applications in other thermoplastics such as Polyethersulfone (PES), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), and others. E-H is produced by the catalytic cracking of hexane, which occurs when crude oil is processed at high temperatures and pressures.
