Small-scale type is also known as activated sludge system. It is a closed circuit with anode, cathode and an electrolyte solution. The major function of small-scale systems includes removal of organic matter and dissolved solids from the wastewater stream through the use of physical separation process such as filtration or centrifugation.


Middle Scale Type:


Middle scale type is used in PEM water electrolyzer for the production of drinking water. It has a capacity between 10kW and 100kW. Middle scale types are mainly used in areas with low consumer demand and high supply of renewable energy, which is produced at a domestic level.
