R type is a thermocouple used for temperature measurement in the range of -55 to +300oC. S Type:
S type is a thermocouple used for measuring temperature in the range of -55 to +300°C with an accuracy of 1% or better. It consists of two wires, one is connected to the heat source and other is attached to the sample under test. The resistance between these two wires provides an indication about the temperature.
