Thermal black is a by-product obtained during the carbonitration process of coal tar. It is also known as anthracite black, which has high thermal stability and can retain heat for a long time. Furnace Black:
Furnace black is a type of carbon black with very high melting point. It has applications in the recycling industry for manufacturing new products from recycled materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, rubber, plastic, paper & paperboard. Furnace black is used to produce specialty alloys by mixing it with other metals or materials that have different properties than carbon Black alone.
