A Ring Panel Filter is a type of air filter that is installed in the ductwork of an HVAC system. It is a cylindrical device that has a series of rings or baffles inside it that create pockets for the air to flow through. This type of filter is often used in commercial applications because it can handle large volumes of air and has a high dust capacity.
2-ply:
2-ply is a type of filter media that consists of two layers of laminates or textiles, which are impregnated with organic chemicals. The top layer is made from nonwoven fabric and the lower one - from cotton gauze. The 2-ply filter has several advantages over single ply filters such as increased efficiency in terms of water filtration and high flow rate through the media, thus providing better performance for both residential & commercial applications.
3-ply:
3-ply is a type of filter media, which consists of three layers. The top layer is made up of gauze material, the middle layer has larger pores than bottom layer and lastly the bottom sheet is also made up of gauze material. This structure allows maximum airflow but at the same time it creates a barrier to all types of particles.
This 3-ply filter provides high filtration efficiency.
