Cellulose acetate membrane is one of the most widely used membranes in the sanitary membrane filtration industry because it is resistant to corrosion by water-borne chemicals such as chlorine. It has excellent resistance to high pressure conditions in a wide range of temperature from -100°C to +200°C. This type of membrane has a long life when used at low temperatures and is an economical water filter for industrial purposes.
