The pump is powered by an electric motor that drives a propeller-like device inside the pump body that creates centrifugal force to move liquid. These products have applications in spas as well as pools and can be utilized for both residential and commercial purposes depending on size & capacity requirements.
Hydraulic:
Hydraulic fluid is used in the sea water pumps to transmit power from the engine to drive the mechanism. It helps in maintaining optimum pressure between chambers and also acts as a sealant, preventing leakages. The hydraulic fluid is generally mineral oil based but can be changed as per requirement depending on operating conditions of pump.
Hydraulic fluids are extensively used for moving liquids at high pressures.
