The chemical formula of TCS is C 4 H 6 O 2 . It consists of one carbon atom bonded to four hydrogen atoms and two oxygen molecules attached to its molecule which makes it polyoxic in nature.
DCS:
DCS stands for Differential Scanning Calorimetry and is a thermal analysis technique that measures the heat released or absorbed during chemical reactions. It is an excellent tool to study phase changes, such as change in temperature of a liquid when it changes state into gaseous form or vice versa. The differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) can be used with all types of reactions including exothermic, endothermic, and catalytic.
