Fixed Block ATC (FBA) is a train control system that uses dedicated blocks to manage railway traffic. FBA is an alternative to traditional Signaling System/ Train Control (SS/TC) systems which are based on shared processors or common signaling software.
Moving Block ATC System:
The moving block ATC system is a computer-based train control system used to regulate and manage the traffic at railway stations. It enables trains to operate more efficiently by providing advanced information regarding the position of trains, thereby reducing congestion on platforms. The technology comprises an integrated network that controls each track separately, which allows controllers to monitor and control trains across different rail networks from a central location.
