Dry vermouth is a type of fortified wine, typically made from Marsala (a variety of grapes), Carpano Antica (contra-distilled) or other traditional ingredients. The alcohol content in dry vermouth is usually around 40% to 46%, and the rest is composed of water, sugar and other natural ingredients such as herbs & spices.


Sweet Vermouth:


Sweet vermouth is a neutral-flavored fortified wine usually made from white grapes. It has low alcohol content (usually less than 20%) and low acidity levels. The typical serving size of sweet vermouth is 1.5 to 2 fluid ounce in a collins glass with ice, however it can be used as an ingredient in cocktails like the Sazerac or Martini as well.


Application Insights:


The others application segment includes restaurants, bars and hotels. Vermouth is used in various cocktails such as Martinez, Manhattans, Old Fashioneds and Gimlets.
