Linear vibrating screens are used for separating solid from crushed ores and grains. These screens have a series of parallel bars, usually made up of steel or other metal alloy, which are driven by a motor. Circular Vibratory Screen:


Circular vibratory screens are used for separating solid from crushed rock and sand in mining operations. The circular screen is mounted on a vertical shaft and has a horizontal armature with a flat surface attached to it. As the feed material is passed through the horizontal arm of the screen, it is subjected to high-pressure air which produces an abrasive dust.
