Product Definition:


Wheat gluten, also known as wheat protein, is the main protein found in wheat. It is a type of gluten, which is a family of proteins that occur in some grains, including wheat and rye. Optimal Grade Product:


Optimal grade product is the highest quality of wheat gluten which has been processed to remove impurities. Optimal grade products have a longer shelf life and are free from any artificial preservatives, colorants or flavors. Sub-optimal Grade Product:


Sub-optimal grade product is the lowest quality wheat gluten which has less protein content as compared to the other grades. It is also known as poor quality wheat gluten or second grade product. This type of product contains around 15% to 20% protein content on average and it can be anywhere between 10%-35% depending upon the variety of wheat, storage conditions, and extraction methods used.
