JLFD56 is a new patent pending design by Juniper Networks for 56mm wind turbine gearbox. The main objective of this project was to develop a gearbox with high efficiency at low cost and highest reliability. JLFD56 has been designed keeping in mind the requirements of small-scale renewable energy systems such as micro hydropower plants, which are widely used across the globe owing to their economic benefits and suitability for distributed generation applications.
JLFD63:
JLFD63 is a kind of oil-based, low viscosity fire retardant which can effectively prevent fire occurrence in wind gear boxes. It has high flash point and low volatility, which makes it suitable to be used as a fire retardant. JLFD63 is added in the form of an additive into Polyurethane (PU) or polyamide based composites for improving their thermal resistance property against smoke and heat.
