Indirect Method:

The indirect method is used to synthesize nanoparticles of metal oxides such as ZnO and CdO. The synthesis process involves the use of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique, which deposits a thin film of metallic oxide on a substrate by using an electric arc.

This method allows the control over size, shape, and composition of nanoparticles produced; however it has some limitations such as high cost for large scale production.
