Lithium triflate is a chemical compound of lithium, trifluoromethane, and gaseous hydrogen. It is primarily used as an electrolyte in rechargeable batteries such as Li-ion batteries. The major applications include industrial processes, laboratory experiments for teaching purposes and the synthesis of organic compounds.
Application Insights:

Lithium triflate is used as an antistatic agent and a wetting agent in the manufacturing of semiconductors, glass, paints & coatings and paper. It is also used as a catalyst in organic synthesis applications.
