Cartridge process filters are used in gas and liquid filtration processes. They are manufactured using different materials such as activated carbon, ceramic media, diatomite, glass fiber or synthetic media. These filters have applications in air pre-filtration (APF), cabin air filtration (CAF) and other downstream processing of gases from liquids/wastes.


Activated Carbon Process filters:


Activated carbon process filters are used in gas process filters to remove contaminants from the gas stream. The activated carbon acts as an adsorbent for gases and impurities, thereby removing them from the gas stream. It is usually manufactured using coconut shell charcoal and peat, although other raw materials such as wood chips are also used.
