A polyimide film is a thermoplastic polymer film made from polyimide resin. It has many applications, including as a barrier in food packaging and as an electrical insulator.


High Intensity:


High Intensity is a property of certain materials that imparts a higher rate of heat transfer than the conventional ones. The heat transfer coefficient for high-intensity materials is more than 2.0 and less than 3.5, whereas for low-intensity it's more than 2.5 and less than 3.0 (W/m2).


Low Intensity:


Low Intensity (LI) is a form of Vacuum Ultraviolet (VUV) radiation with wavelengths between 200 nm to 300 nm. VUV is absorbed by the polyimide film during the production process, which results in an intense blue light emission. Low-intensity vacuum ultraviolet has applications in semiconductor packaging and thin-film coating owing to its ability to control oxidation and other chemical reactions that are not permissible under standard ultra-violet light.
