A recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (rFSH) that is structurally and functionally similar to natural FSH. It is used to stimulate ovarian follicle development in women undergoing fertility treatment.

100μg/0.5ml is a form of Corifollitropin Alfa, which is used for the treatment of narcolepsy and cataplexy in patients suffering from Parkinson's disease. It works by restoring the body’s natural sleep cycle, thereby curing the condition it was caused due to lack of sleep.


150μg/0.5ml:


150μg/0.5ml is a subcutaneous injection of the contents of Corifollitropin Alfa vial. It is used in the treatment of hereditary ophthalmic disease (LOPD), wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and diabetic retinopathy, among others.


Application Insights:


The application segment includes hospitals and laboratories. Hospitals accounted for the largest share in 2016 owing to the high usage of corifollitropin alfa in various hospital applications such as diabetes, weight management, and others. The product is approved by FDA for use in humans only under clinical trials conditions; therefore, it cannot be used outside of a clinical setting.
