98% DCHA is a colorless, flammable organic liquid. It has a mild aromatic odor. 98% DCHA is used as an intermediate in the production of chemicals and pharmaceuticals such as resveratrol, quercetin, chlorogenic acid & other flavonoids and phenolic derivatives.
99% DCHA:
99% DCHA is a crystalline compound, which is white in color. It has a purity level of 99%. The product has an odor similar to that of fresh asparagus and onion. It is soluble in water and ethanol, but not in diethyl ether or acetone.
DCHA can be manufactured by two different methods: the double decomposition method and the fractional distillation method.
