Microcrystalline cellulose acts as a stabilizer, rheology modifier and texturizer in the food industry.


Refined Cotton Based:


Microcrystalline cellulose is a type of cellulose that has been processed to remove most of its fat and water. It consists of highly branched polysaccharides, which are interspersed with short chains of glucose molecules. The product is used as an anti-caking agent in food grade applications owing to its ability to absorb excess moisture from the surface thereby preventing the formation of crystals or any other solidified particles on the food products during storage or transportation.
