Ceremonial grade is the premium grade of Matcha tea that is produced and processed with very specific manufacturing standards. Ceremonial grade products are used for various traditional Japanese tea ceremonies such as Hanami, Kaichou, Kagenobori, Gyokurohanami and Genmai Hanzumi. The growing popularity of these events across the globe has been driving the demand for ceremonial grade Matcha over regular matcha in recent years.


Classic:


The classic is the original and purest form of Matcha. It has no additives, only natural ingredients like steaming water, shade-grown tea leaves and stone ground sugar. The color of this grade is straw yellow with slight greenish tint due to high chlorophyll content in the leaves. This product grade has been used for traditional Japanese tea ceremonies since 17th century.
