SM/PO:


Solvent Motor/Propylene Oxide (SMPO) is a propylene oxide based solvent used in manufacturing polyurethane foams and coatings. It is also used as an intermediate for the production of other chemicals such as methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), polyols, and alkyd resins. SMPO market size was estimated at USD 1,37,000 thousand tons in 2015.
