The technology uses less than 1% of battery power to run in passive mode which enables it to float freely on water surface without affecting the performance of electronic devices below it.
Fixed Capsule S-VDR:
Fixed capsule S-VDR is a small sized data recorder that can be easily attached to the exterior of any vessel. It contains an internal hard drive and can record all significant voyage data including temperature, pressure, humidity and also has some additional features like it can store GPS trackers which helps in recording position of the ship at specific times along with other information.

The Simplified VDR provides cost-effective solutions to monitor and record voyage data for a wide range of applications, including small ships, international maritime organization (IMO), government agencies and others.
