Temporization Material for Dental is a material used to temporarily fill a tooth cavity until the final restoration (i.e. filling or crown) can be placed. It is typically made of either plastic or glass ionomer cement, and its most important function is to protect the tooth from further decay while it is awaiting restoration.


Methacrylate Resins:


Methacrylate resins are polymerized acrylic acid esters. They have a high molecular weight and low viscosity. The resin is white in color and has a crystalline structure like other polymers. It is formed by the reaction of acrylonitrile with methacrylic acid which gives it's unique properties such as flexibility, transparency, heat resistance, light transmittance along with dimensional stability at room temperature.


Bisacrylate Composites:


Bisacrylate composites are a group of materials that contain two or more cationic polymer chains connected by an amide link. The material is cross-linked and the hydrophilic nature of the cross-linking agents allows it to be used in watery solutions.
