High Range:
High range is the measurement of water's PH value which is more than 7.4. It can be achieved by adding acid or alkali in solution and its measurement depends on how much we want to raise the pH level. High range water has a lower concentration of hydrogen ion (H+), it means that high-range water has a smaller quantity of hydrogen ions, as compared to low-range water; therefore, it has less acidic content and higher alkalinity.
Low Range:
Low range is the measurement of PH between 4 and 7.5, which is inclusive on both sides of pH 6.0 (6log scale). It covers the interval from highly acidic (4) to basic (7) and has a typical range for freshwater bodies such as lakes, rivers, streams or even oceans.
