Product Definition:


High purity sulfuric acid (>99.8%) is an important industrial chemical used in the manufacture of a wide range of products, including fertilizers, explosives, dyes and pigments, pharmaceuticals and other chemicals. It is also used as a catalyst in many chemical processes.


G2:


G2 is the second form of molecular sulfur. It has a boiling point of around 300 °C and a melting point of -30 °C. G2 can be produced either by fractional distillation or by sublimation at normal pressure and temperature (15-20°).


G3:


G3 is the third generation of gas-to-liquid technology. It is a patented process developed by DuPont for producing sulfuric acid from coal, natural gas or other gaseous fuels. G3 includes two processes namely, “Direct Gases to Liquids” and “ indirect liquefaction”. The company has applied for a patent on this technology in the year 2000 which was granted in 2006 as number PB20060105 A1 (article 2).
